Snow, December 08

The first snow of the winter had the nerve to fall while I was in California, at my Aunt Unie’s 100th birthday party.

Fortunately, I only missed the first few inches. And since I returned, the snow has continued, most seriously. As of December 26, we had received about 32 inches of dry powder snow.

After the largest snowfall of December 17, Carl and I, Poco & Cuca, took a walk on the perimeter trails around the homestead. The temperature was in the teens.
